PSIM can be used to simulate and design power converter systems for various industrial applications, such as uninterruptible power supplies, grid-connected inverters, etc.
The figure below shows a grid-connected inverter with the active and reactive power control.
The control includes transformation of the 3-phase voltages and currents from the abc frame to the dq frame, calculation of the reference currents in the dq frame, and implementation of the current loops. With PSIM's comprehensive control library, it is easy to set up such a system in a straightforward way.
